How did Dawayne Propose?

After asking for Permission to Marry Chantai (Tai) from her Mother and Son on Thankgiving 2023, Dawayne put things in Motion with her friends and family for the proposal. Tai wanted a proposal on her Birthday December 14, but when that day came and went she was disappointed the proposal wasn’t done. Well, on a cold and stormy night on December 17th - Dawayne set everything in motion at the Ivy City Smokehouse. Surrounded by her friends, Tai anticipated this was just a birthday party. During intermission of the show, Dawayne picked up the mic and thanked everyone for coming out and right before he was about to hand the mic back, he announced what better way to end this night than to ask Tai to be his wife. He got on one knee to formally propose and Tai said YES!!!!
